For instance, in the case of a girl who "forgets" her BC for three weeks because she thinks a child will force the father to stay with her even though he has made it clear he doesn't want kids. Shouldn't he have the right to say, "No, this is not what I want for my life, and I am claiming my reproductive rights." ?
It just seems odd to me that a guy is always saddled with 18 years of child support for a child he made clear he didn't want just because the girl decided to have the baby.
PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT meant to support fathers who have bailed out on their families. I am a female who has had one abortion. I am not trying to attack women who have chosen to have their children without support from the father. This is simply a question about equal reproductive rights for males, since they don't have access to birth control (yet).
